Sneak Peek...

Here's a sneak peek at what's been keeping me busy. I've begun to refinish and paint our bedroom set from cherry varnish to white. I also decided to give this table a makeover. Brandon picked it up for me at a yard sale last year thinking it might have some potential. I wanted to modernize it and give it a little pop. Can you guess what color I chose?

Why, Tiffany turquoise of course!

And yes, I do still have to finish painting the legs. It's a work in progress! Here is how the first of the end tables turned out:

With all the color that's going on in the room so far, I'm debating on whether or not to paint the walls gray or to leave them white. At this point, I'm really loving the white.

More to come!

  1. Looks really good! I'm trying to gear up to paint some furniture this week while my kids are away....love the turquoise! I always want to use it but I feel like I'm locked into my color choices in my house and there is no room for it!

  4. Yes, the rest of the bedroom set will all be white like the end table. And I have to paint all the moulding and window and door frames from brown to white too. It's going to keep me busy for a long time!
