Life is sure delicious.
I have been eating up every last bite lately.
I feel more content than ever. Someone asked me the other day what makes me feel successful. I can truly say my marriage. Not because its perfect, by any means, but because we have learned to put in as much effort as we can, and have learned to rely on God to fill in the gaps. Our first year was so hard, and now after celebrating our third anniversary, its like a different marriage completely. I have learned how to vocalize my feelings without beating around the bush (and manipulating) and he has learned how to speak affirmations rather than keeping them silent. We hold hands constantly, we kiss like nervous teenagers channeling those first few years when we were just that. We've kept the house clean for a solid week (!), and I can't think of the last time we argued. My constant prayer during my showers, at work, and while I'm lying awake in the early morning hours, is that Jesus will work inside my heart and continue to bring forth fruit in my life so that I can bless Brandon with my words and actions. It's crazy to me how far we have come, and how much we have been blessed. I am so utterly in love with this man. I feel so lucky to hold the memories in my heart of him as a young boy, and to know him now as the wonderful man he has become. I am blessed beyond words to call him mine.
Another beautifully simple day.
