Today is a good day.
I don't normally feel that way about Tuesdays, but today just has a lovely feel to it.
I'm so excited about this baby, and I'm also excited because my older sister just discovered she is pregnant (hush, hush!) and we have due dates a month apart! What could be more fun than sharing this with her?

At my last Dr.s appointment, I was so discouraged by the numbers on the scale that I almost
couldn't think of anything else. Selfish, I know. I came to the realization that if I don't change
how I am living, I will really suffer from the extra weight. Especially while my back is still healing.

I also had a horrible episode last week that resulted in a trip to the ER to receive fluids because I was so dehydrated. I'm forcing myself to drink more water, even though it means 10,000 trips to the bathroom.

I'm also eating much healthier, smaller balanced meals, with protein rich snacks in between. I feel so much lighter after cutting out most of the useless carbs I was living on. I think the biggest difference is that I have been exercising every day. Sweet husband has been taking me on strolls every other night, which has been doing wonders for our relationship (and for our dogs).

On the nights that we don't walk I have been doing an amazing prenatal workout video by Summer Sanders. If you ever need a good exercise video during pregnancy, this is it. It's so much fun, and I am never bored. It's also a very challenging workout that leaves me sore for the next two days. I set up a workout room where the nursery will soon be, and I think about the baby the whole time I am doing it. It's becoming a special part of my day.

Also, my assistant is back from Mexico, and I am so thankful. I rely on her for so much, and it's nice to have the pressure off of me.

Anyways, hoping you are all having a lovely Tuesday! Tomorrow is our third wedding anniversary and the day of our first ultrasound. Something tells me that Wednesday is going to be a great day as well!
